The Marcia Rosenthal Foundation
The Marcia Rosenthall Foundation was founded in memory of Marcia H. Rosenthall
who spent many years of her life working to enhance the central business district
in Washington D.C. She was the founding Executive Director of the Golden Triangle
Business Improvement District and served as an advocate for D.C.’s Central
Business District.
Through her hard work and dedication, she was able to successfully build unique
public-private partnerships that benefited Washington D.C., as well as the businesses,
shops and restaurants within the city.

Women’s Leadership Program at GW
The Elizabeth J Somers Women's Leadership Program (WLP) is a freshmen, residential,
year-long, academic program and is true to the legacy of Elizabeth J Somers.
This program explores issues relative to women's leadership, its nature, its
expressions, and its exercise in various intellectual, artistic, social, political,
and technological contexts while meeting some of GW's general curriculum requirements,
school requirements and prerequisite courses for many majors. Click
